Around the World Quiz

It was time to put our general knowledge to the test as residents came together for our latest activity — the Around the World Quiz!

With 46 questions, five teams, plenty of snacks and a few drinks from the bar**, everything was in place for a brilliant evening of friendly competition.

Five Teams Ready to Compete

Before the questions began, residents split themselves into five teams and were given the important first task of the evening — coming up with their own team names!

Once everyone had settled into their teams, it was time to get the quiz underway.

The questions took us on a journey around the world, giving everyone plenty to think about, discuss and debate with their teammates.

With 46 questions in total, there were lots of opportunities for everyone to get involved and show off their knowledge.

Snacks, Drinks and Plenty of Conversation

Of course, no quiz night would be complete without some refreshments!

There were plenty of snacks to enjoy throughout the evening, and our bar was open for residents who fancied a beverage while tackling the questions.

The evening wasn't only about getting the answers right. It was a great opportunity for residents to sit together, socialise, have a chat and enjoy a bit of friendly competition.

There was plenty of discussion between teammates — and, naturally, a little debate over some of the answers!

More Than Just a Quiz

Group activities like our Around the World Quiz are a great way of bringing people together.

Quizzes encourage conversation, teamwork and plenty of thinking, while also providing an enjoyable social occasion for residents to share.

At Stour Valley Care Group, our activities are about much more than simply filling the calendar. We want residents to have opportunities to socialise, have fun, try different activities and continue enjoying the things that interest them.

A Brilliant Evening

The Around the World Quiz turned out to be a really enjoyable night, with a fantastic atmosphere from beginning to end.

A big thank you to everyone who took part and to the team for organising the evening, keeping the snacks coming and making sure the bar was well stocked!

We're already looking forward to seeing what everyone gets up to at the next activity.
